Nigeria expects 22 cargo ships at Lagos ports

Lagos, July 5, 2023: The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is expecting 22 ships laden with petroleum products and other items at the Lagos ports from July 4 to July 11.

It said the ships contained bulk sugar, automobile gasoline, bulk wheat, butane gas, general cargo, bulk soya bean, bulk gypsum, base oil, bulk salt, petrol, butane/propane gas and container.

The NPA said 14 ships were already discharging general cargo, petrol, container, bulk sugar, bulk salt, ethanol, palm oil, bulk clinker and bulk wheat.

The authority added that five ships had arrived in the port waiting to berth with frozen fish, general cargo and petrol.
