Governor urges Kebbi entrepreneurs to return home

Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has appealed to businessmen and women to come back home and invest for wealth creation, economic growth and development of the state.

He made the plea while inspecting a newly established multi-million Naira modern textile materials shopping mall in Jega, Jega alocal Government Area of the state.

The modern textile materials shopping complex was established by an entrepreneur, Alhaji Lawali Dan-Aggo-Jega.

The shopping mall was filled-up with different types of textile materials including; varieties of female wrappers, lace materials, shadda brocade among other brands.

Inspecting the shopping complex, the governor expressed joy and happiness and lauded the business mongul for the foresight.

“I want to use this medium to call on businessmen and women of Kebbi state origin living outside the state to come back home and invest for economic growth and development of the state as well wealth creation.

“Doing so will not only create wealth but it will also curb insecurity by providing job opportunities to our teaming unemployed youth,” he noted.

The owner of the shopping complex, Alhaji Lawali Dan-Aggo-Jega expressed appreciation and gratitude to the governor for the friendly visit coupled with his kind words and prayers beseeching God to bless the venture.

He said customers who had hitherto been going to other towns within and outside the country could now access variety of textile materials of their choice at the shopping mall in Jega.
