The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said 15 ships are being awaited at the Delta Ports before May 31.
The NPA disclosed this in its daily publication, ‘Shipping Position’ released on Thursday in Warri.
NPA said that the vessels were laden with Automotive Gasoline Oil (AGO), Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Bitumen, Gas oil, Bulk wheat, Containers among others.
It listed some of the ships to include: MT Ocean Progress, MT Abiola, MT Ashabi, Sofie Theresa, MV Helvetia, MV Shark Island among others.
NPA said that the authority made declaration on two vessels on Thursday.
It listed the vessels to include MV Baltic Mantis and MT Matrix Pride, adding they were laden with wheat and petrol respectively.
The organisation also said that three vessels were awaiting anchorage at the Escravos, adding that two were laden with fuel while the other was awaiting maintenance.
“Four vessels- MT Rosemary, MT Venlo, MT St Zeezee and Matrix Triumph laden with PMS and AGO are also awaiting at the Fair Bouy to discharge inward,” the authority stated.
