The flight to Mombasa would be operated from its base in Doha four times weekly. The airline currently flies to Nairobi.
A statement by the airline said that the new flights would be operated
with an Airbus A320, with 12 business class seats and 120 economy class
seats, from December 11, 2018, with a flight time of just over six
hours.

Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive said the airline sees Kenya as an important market for its passengers.

Qatar Airways first started flying to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi in
November 2005. As part of its continued expansion plans, Qatar Airways
plans a host of other exciting new destinations throughout 2018/19,
