the shortcomings were responsible for low economic growth of African countries.

politics, business and civil society meeting over the issue between June 21 and
June 22 in Abidjan.

direction for how the infrastructure pipeline could be boosted through better

According to him, participants, during the
two days meeting, will brainstorm on the theme, “Building the right
infrastructure for tomorrow”.

relevance of implementing quality standards throughout infrastructure project
cycle to ensure its best design and effectiveness,” he said.

Oumarou said the challenge for African
countries was to approach infrastructure governance comprehensibly from the
planning and prioritization stage to procurement down to maintenance and
operation.
