{"id":50411,"date":"2023-05-19T00:18:43","date_gmt":"2023-05-19T00:18:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/?p=50411"},"modified":"2023-05-19T00:18:48","modified_gmt":"2023-05-19T00:18:48","slug":"securities-awareness-impacting-ordinary-nigerians","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/old\/securities-awareness-impacting-ordinary-nigerians\/","title":{"rendered":"Securities awareness impacting ordinary Nigerians"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Benin, May 18, 2023: A Stockbroker, Foluke Samuel, says the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Securities Issuance Awareness Programme organised by the Debt Management Office (DMO) has been most impactful on ordinary Nigerians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samuel, Lead Sales, Northern Region, CSL Stockbrokers Limited, said on Thursday, on the sidelines of the FGN Securities Issuance Awareness Programme in Benin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awareness programme is a collaborative effort between the DMO and CSL, which is the the stockbroking firm for the Federal Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Samuel, many more ordinary Nigerians have continued to embrace the attractive investment opportunities in FGN Securities, thereby promoting financial inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are here in Benin to continue to create awareness on the need for Nigerians across social classes to embrace investment opportunities in FGN Securities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBefore now, the opportunity was opened to a segment of the society, but now it has cut across as many more ordinary Nigerians have started embracing this opportunity,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said that the feedback from the investing public indicated the various FGN Security instruments were receiving more acceptance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA lot of Nigerians have been investing more in FGN Securities through the awareness that we have been creating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last FGN Savings Bond that was issued in May, shortly after the awareness programme in Gombe, recorded a high volume of interest from that axis,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n<!-- wp:themify-builder\/canvas \/-->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Benin, May 18, 2023: A Stockbroker, Foluke Samuel, says the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) Securities Issuance Awareness Programme organised by the Debt Management Office (DMO) has been most impactful on ordinary Nigerians.
