{"id":47886,"date":"2023-01-20T04:46:55","date_gmt":"2023-01-20T04:46:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/?p=47886"},"modified":"2023-01-20T04:47:00","modified_gmt":"2023-01-20T04:47:00","slug":"tcn-receives-8-transformers-at-lagos-port-official","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/old\/tcn-receives-8-transformers-at-lagos-port-official\/","title":{"rendered":"TCN receives 8 transformers at Lagos Port \u2013 Official"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says it has&nbsp; received eight new power transformers under its Project Management Unit at the Apapa Port, Lagos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs Ndidi Mbah, General Manager Public Affairs stated this in a statement in Abuja on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mbah stated that the transformers were six 150\/187.5 Mega Volt Ampere (MVA),&nbsp; 330\/132\/33 Kilo Volt (kV) power transformers and two&nbsp; 100\/125MVA, 132\/33kV power transformers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She stated that the transformers were still at the port, adding that arrangement was being concluded to move them out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mbah listed the proposed locations for the transformers to include Bauchi- 2\u00d7150\/187.5MVA, 330\/132\/33kV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c1\u00d7150\/187.5MVA, 330\/132\/33kV \u2013 Mayo Belwa, 1\u00d7150\/187.5MVA, 330\/132kV \u2013 Yola and 1\u00d7150\/187.5MVA, 330\/132\/33kV \u2014Maiduguri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c1\u00d7150\/187.5MVA, 330\/132\/33kV \u2013 Damaturu, 2\u00d7100\/125MVA, 132\/33kV \u2013 Yola, \u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to her, TCN through the contractor, MBH will move all the transformers to TCN Substations mentioned above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She added that the project was among the World Bank-funded projects under Nigeria Electricity Transmission Project&nbsp; (NETAP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe transformers are part of the ongoing grid expansion projects under TCN\u2019s Project Management Unit.<\/p>\n\n<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-47886\" data-postid=\"47886\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-47886 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says it has&nbsp; received eight new power transformers under its Project Management Unit at the Apapa Port, Lagos.
