{"id":46554,"date":"2022-11-14T16:36:32","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T16:36:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/?p=46554"},"modified":"2022-11-14T16:36:37","modified_gmt":"2022-11-14T16:36:37","slug":"cac-emerges-winner-of-2022-nasmes-award-of-excellence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/old\/cac-emerges-winner-of-2022-nasmes-award-of-excellence\/","title":{"rendered":"CAC emerges winner of&nbsp; 2022 NASMEs award of excellence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), has emerged winner of the 2022 Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASMEs) Award for excellence in corporate governance and regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Rasheed Mahe, CAC\u2019s Head of Media Unit on Monday in Abuja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahe said that the CAC added another feather to its cap during the NASMEs 25th Anniversary Lecture and Award Night recently held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement quoted NASMEs president, Dr&nbsp; Abdulrashid Yerima as commending the commission for its support toward promoting the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He solicited the commission\u2019s continued collaboration with NASMEs to boost the nation\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Receiving the award, the Registrar-General of CAC, Alhaji Garba Abubakar, thanked NASMEs for recognisng the commission\u2019s contributions toward promoting MSMEs\u2019 development in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abubakar, represented by Duke Ukaga, the Director, Public Affairs of the commission, pledged the continued support and collaboration with the association to further grow the MSMEs sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that other organisations awarded at the event included the Development Bank of Nigeria, and the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others were the Small and Medium Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), and the Raw Materials Research and Development Council.<\/p>\n\n<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-46554\" data-postid=\"46554\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-46554 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), has emerged winner of the 2022 Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASMEs) Award for excellence in corporate governance and regulation.
