{"id":37587,"date":"2021-10-25T19:59:27","date_gmt":"2021-10-25T19:59:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/?p=37587"},"modified":"2021-10-25T19:59:29","modified_gmt":"2021-10-25T19:59:29","slug":"nestles-profit-grows-by-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/old\/nestles-profit-grows-by-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Nestle\u2019s profit grows by 5%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nestl\u00e9 Nigeria Plc has posted a profit before tax (PBT) of N51.58 billion for the third quarter ended Sept. 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was contained in the company\u2019s Unaudited Financial Statements sent to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Ltd., signed by the Company Secretary\/Legal Adviser, Mr Bode Ayeku, on Monday in Lagos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the financial statements, the PBT represented a five per cent growth compared to the N49.26 billion recorded in the comparative period of 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the statements showed a rise in profit after tax (PAT) for the period to N33.58 billion from N31.93 billion in the same period of 2020, representing a five per cent increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company\u2019s revenue also grew to N261.59 billion as against N212.73 billion recorded in the comparative period of 2020, showing a 23 per cent increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The notice by the company on the NGX website stated that an interim dividend of 25k per 50k ordinary share would be paid to the shareholders whose names appeared on the register of members as at the close of business on Nov. 19.<\/p>\n\n<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-37587\" data-postid=\"37587\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-37587 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nestl\u00e9 Nigeria Plc has posted a profit before tax (PBT) of N51.58 billion for the third quarter ended Sept. 30.
