{"id":37281,"date":"2021-10-13T23:08:26","date_gmt":"2021-10-13T23:08:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/?p=37281"},"modified":"2021-10-13T23:08:30","modified_gmt":"2021-10-13T23:08:30","slug":"nigerias-oil-production-averaged-1-451-mb-d","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/old\/nigerias-oil-production-averaged-1-451-mb-d\/","title":{"rendered":"Nigeria\u2019s oil production averaged 1.451 mb\/d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries ( OPEC) says Nigeria\u2019s crude oil production averaged 1.451 million barrels per day in September 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OPEC made this known in its Oil Market Report for October 2021 which was released on Wednesday in Lagos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report said the figure showed an increment of 156 barrels per day when compared to the 1.296 million barrels per day produced averagely in the month of August 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also noted that Nigeria\u2019s non-oil economic activities grew despite the lingering effects of the current COVID-19 wave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report said: \u201cThe Stanbic IBTC Bank Purchasing Managers\u2019 Index (PMI) edged up to 52.3 in September from 52.2 in August, remarking the 15th consecutive monthly expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYet labour market pressures continued to be a concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRecently released National Bureau of Statistics data indicated that the unemployment rate increased to 33.30 per cent in fourth quarter 2020 from 27. 10 per cent in second quarter 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said however, both consumer and business confidence have increased, driven by the overall positive sentiments related to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions and rising commodity prices.<\/p>\n\n<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-37281\" data-postid=\"37281\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-37281 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries ( OPEC) says Nigeria\u2019s crude oil production averaged 1.451 million barrels per day in September 2021.
