{"id":30041,"date":"2021-04-28T11:10:27","date_gmt":"2021-04-28T10:10:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/?p=30041"},"modified":"2021-10-07T00:24:48","modified_gmt":"2021-10-07T00:24:48","slug":"transcorp-hotels-to-get-lifeline-of-120m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/old\/transcorp-hotels-to-get-lifeline-of-120m\/","title":{"rendered":"Transcorp hotels to get lifeline of $120m"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Chairman of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp) , Mr. Tony Elumelu, has explained the decision to commit $120 million to the rehabilitation of Transcorp Hotels.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He spoke at the 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company in Abuja where he said the decision was to lay an investment, \u201cfoundation for a better tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He said shareholders had invested wisely in the project, adding that, \u201cyour investment will yield huge dividends.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He noted that it was the first time the level of rehabilitation was being undertaken in the hotel since its existence about 30 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cWe did this because we are long term investors. We believe in investing today for better tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis hotel is here to make money for shareholders. In terms of value of the assets, they have significantly improved.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are laying investment foundation for a better tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He further assured shareholders that for \u201cTranscorp, the future is extremely bright.
