{"id":29565,"date":"2021-04-13T01:40:07","date_gmt":"2021-04-13T00:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/?p=29565"},"modified":"2021-10-07T00:24:39","modified_gmt":"2021-10-07T00:24:39","slug":"taj-bank-deploys-nqr-code-to-ease-transaction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/old\/taj-bank-deploys-nqr-code-to-ease-transaction\/","title":{"rendered":"TAJ bank deploys NQR code to ease transaction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TAJBank has deployed NQR Payment solution, an indigenous Quick Response Code by Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) as the newest addition to its e-business channels.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The Founder\/Chief Operating Officer of the bank, Mr. Hamid Joda, said this in a statement in Abuja on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Joda said that the ingenious solution would further drive TAJBank\u2019s culture of innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>NQR Payment solution is a secure QR-code-based payment and collections platform developed for merchants and customers to receive and make payments in an easy and secure manner.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Joda said that the NQR would also create a seamless payment experience for the bank\u2019s rapidly growing individual and corporate customers in their banking transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to have this payment channel introduced into the nation\u2019s financial system as an addition to other innovative solutions we have deployed over the past few months.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is a proof that, as we have said in our communications signature line, TAJBank\u2019s interest is always in our customers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder of the bank, Mr. Sherif Idi, said that the deployment of the NQR payment solution would revolutionise the e-payment experience.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Idi added that it would open new frontiers for small, medium and large scale businesses which were major stakeholders of the bank.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He assured of the bank\u2019s track record of growth and innovation, and rendering quality services to customers.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He said that NQR solution was open to all customers of the bank, both merchants and individuals, across all its branches and digital channels globally.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>TAJBank is Nigeria\u2019s second licensed non-interest financial institution offering innovative and customer-oriented products and services that span private banking, retail banking, business banking, development finance and the public sector.<\/p>\n<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-29565\" data-postid=\"29565\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-29565 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TAJBank has deployed NQR Payment solution, an indigenous Quick Response Code by Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) as the newest addition to its e-business channels.
