{"id":28520,"date":"2021-02-28T18:27:58","date_gmt":"2021-02-28T17:27:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/?p=28520"},"modified":"2021-10-07T00:24:18","modified_gmt":"2021-10-07T00:24:18","slug":"ipman-advises-against-panic-buying-of-petrol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thefreezonechannel.com\/old\/ipman-advises-against-panic-buying-of-petrol\/","title":{"rendered":"IPMAN advises against panic buying of petrol"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Moses Uwagbale<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has advised Nigerians to stop panic buying and stocking of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly known as petrol.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Alhaji Suleiman Yakubu, the National Public Relations Officer of IPMAN, gave the advice on Sunday in Abuja while reacting to the long fuel queues recorded at some filling stations in Abuja.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He decried the panic purchases and long queues witnessed in various filling stations across the nation\u2019s federal capital.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Yakubu however said that crude oil price has gone up and it has affected the price products.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He assured Nigerians that normal supply of petroleum products would soon be restored since loading have commenced at various deports.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe want to assure the buyers that government and marketers are doing everything possible to ensure that the products are available in every filling station within a few days starting from today,\u201d said the IPMAN spokesman.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>But some motorists who expressed disappointment over the&nbsp; development, urged filling stations that has fuel to sell.<\/p>\n<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-28520\" data-postid=\"28520\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-28520 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moses Uwagbale The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has advised Nigerians to stop panic buying and stocking of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly known as petrol.
