NPA expects 27 cargo ships at Lagos port

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is expecting 27 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods between Dec. 24 and Jan. 1, 2021
The NPA made this known in its publication, ‘Shipping Position’, in Lagos on Thursday.
According to the NPA, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.
It listed the contents of the ships as bulk sugar, bulk wheat, general cargo, petrol, frozen fish, butane gas, bulk malt, container, automobile gasoline, bulk fertiliser and bulk salt .
NPA added that 11 other ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk wheat, container, and petrol.
Also, the organisation said that 15 other ships were at the ports discharging general cargo, bulk wheat, petrol, frozen fish, automobile gasoline, jet fuel and container.
