The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 29 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods Lagos ports from July 4 to July 17.
NPA disclosed this in its publication, ‘Shipping Position’, in Lagos on Monday.
It said that the remaining 16 ships expected at the port contain bulk wheat, bulk sugar, bulk salt, general cargo, truck, container, butane gas, bulk gypsum and petrol.
The NPA said that the ships also contained bulk sugar, container, bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk coal, bulk urea, bulk fertiliser, petrol and frozen fish.
It said that 18 ships were already discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, petrol, frozen fish, bulk fertiliser, ethanol, soya bean, bulk gypsum and automobile gasoline.
The authority added that four other ships had arrived the ports and were waiting to berth with general cargo, bulk fertiliser and petrol.
