
The Special Economic Zones (SEZs) across the Kingdom have attracted 835 projects, with a total value exceeding $11.7 billion in 2024, according to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
According to the CDC announcement on January 12, Cambodia has 52 SEZs with 28 currently operational and the remaining under construction, which play a key role in attracting foreign investments as well as generating jobs for local residents.
Currently, the operational SEZs in Cambodia have attracted a total of 835 investment projects, valued at over $11.7 billion, and employing around 195,000 local workers.
Notably, Svay Rieng province hosts 12 operational SEZs, with 280 projects worth $3 billion, providing job opportunities to 98,000 workers.
