The 5th Annual International Conference and Exhibition of the World Free Zone Organization holding in Bacelona will examine issues concerning logistics, e-commerce, transparency, and data.
The conference would also examine trade in an age of fast moving technological progress.
The Chairperson of the organization, Dr Mohammed Alzarooni, promised that the event would cover wide range of fascinating issues.
He said the conference would be facilitated by an exclusive set of panel and participants.
Dr Alzarooni said that the conference would help piece together, a clear picture of the state of affairs for the zones in different parts of the world.
It would help participants draw projective trends into the future to better prepare for challenges and opportunities as they arise.
The special delegation of the Spanish state at El consorcide La Zona Franca de Bacelona, Mr Pere Navarro, expressed joy that the city of Bacelona was eventually chosen for the conference after beating the candidates of Egypt, Kazakhstan, Mexico and Serbia.
He assured that about 1,500 participants from 72 countries would analyse the future challenges that free zone must face in all part of the world.
Jord Marti, Deputy Mayor of Bacelona, says that the gathering is the largest international trade event that has ever been held in Bacelona.
