The Namibian economy is expected to rebound from recession this year and grow by as much one per cent.
The finance minister Calle Schlettwein, said on Wednesday.
Schlettwein said in his budget speech in Windhoek that he expected country’s budget deficit to shrink by 4.1 per cent of gross domestic product this year.
“The budget deficit should shrink to 96.3 billion Namibian dollars or 4.1 per cent of gross domestic product this year compared with 4.4 per cent in 2018,” he said.
