24 cargo ships expected at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is expecting 24 ships to bring petroleum products, foods and other goods from March 15 to  March 29 into Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.

NPA made this known in its daily publication ‘Shipping Position’ made available to newsmen in Lagos on Friday.

Two of the ships will sail in with petrol.

About 22 other ships are carrying buckwheat, general cargo, bulk frozen fish, base oil, methanol, sugar and containers of different goods.

According to NPA, 13 ships have arrived the ports waiting to berth with general cargo, containers, diesel and petrol.
