No fewer than 200 exhibitors are participating in the 19th National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Clinic in Enugu.

exhibitors were made up of private and cooperate entrepreneurs including
14 relevant Federal Government agencies.

He said that farmers drawn from the 17 local government areas of the state were in attendance.

clinic became necessary following the desire of the Federal Government
to drive the economy with small businesses.

Uwagbai said that development and
regulatory agencies including the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC)
were also on ground to register businesses and impact knowledge on
participants.

“There are some businesses that have not been registered with CAC and they easily evade payment of taxes.
“Such organisations can use this opportunity to get their services registered here,” he said.
Uwagbai said that there was a lot that MSMEs could do in revamping the economy.
The event, which will be inaugurated Vice
President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, is the 19th edition and has already
been inaugurated in 18 states.
