The Seme Border of Nigerian Customs Service has generated more than $27.5 million between March 2017 and August 2018.

Aliyu said that the command witnessed unprecedented increase in revenue and seizures in the last 18 months.

Aliyu said that he took
some proactive steps to give Seme border an international outlook by
reclaiming the customs land that was encroached upon by unscrupulous
individuals.

General of Customs, Col. Hammed Ali (Rtd), for the opportunity given to

She said the container was seized after examination and detained, and that the consignment originated from the Bahamas.

“The container was intercepted by

$19.4 million in the last eight months in spite of various challenges encountered.

Wushishi assured port users of the
command’s commitment to ensuring the implementation of the fiscal policy
of the Federal Government and willingness to continue to collaborate

She, however, urged importers and
stakeholders operating within the command’s terminals to comply with all
extant laws by making honest declarations in order to enjoy seamless
