Sankore Investments’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Titi Odunfa-Adeoye has reported that the firm has resolved to simplify investment options for 10 of the 70 million members of Nigeria’s mass affluent workforce.
The company said it would leverage on technology to stimulate investment among the mass affluent and boost the country’s wealth.
Titi Odunfa-Adeoye said at the firm’s headquarters in Lagos that the investment products are available through the www.wealth.ngplatform and a mobile app.
Adeoye said the investment products are available to corporations and financial institutions, as well as individuals at N10,000 and upwards.
The investment fields, she noted, include estate management, agriculture, among others and investors stand to reap high, consistent returns on their investment.
According to her, the investment process is “easier, faster, safer and less complicated than before”, and an investor can make informed investment moves from home, office, car – anywhere and at any time.
She emphasised her belief that the key to wealth building in Nigeria is “to build wealth for each and every individual” therefore the company was not just building wealth for only High Net worth Individuals (HNIs) “who are only about 20,000”
“The reason for choosing the mass affluent is because they have a population of at least 10 million when compared to the HNIs,” she noted.
Adeoye also noted that the firm was “very interested in investing in the agricultural sector.
